Bubba in NV
I got the Minidirector w/mp3 player during the summer sale...Wow is all I can say. Yes I only have a meager 16 channel set up, but I did not have to drag out the show computer to get my Halloween show going. Actually it was easy as I only have 6 songs and all the days will be the same. I have it and my Ramsey transmitter on a timer, and when it turns on, it starts playing. Its easy to save your show on the SD card with simple show builder (new version). The show is running right now... not too sure wht I will do with the Christmas show yet as I like to have different songs on different days..But for simplicity, the minidirector is simple. Make your show in simple show builder, save it to the SD card, plug your controller into your minidirector, turn it on, and you have a show in progress.. JBullard
I agree with you 100%. I love that little fellow. I have mine wired with three trigger inputs for my Halloween display. When little tikes are coming down the sidewalk, a kid friendly display is illuminated. Trigger 2 turns on a few of the other display elements for the preteens, and trigger 3 is all out for the teenagers and adults. Different music plays with each of the three shows through speakers on Halloween.
-klb-
I use mine for a number of things. It gets used to drive the lights at a booth we run at a local festival, to recruit volunteers. It gets used to run elements when we take a few items in to city council meetings when asking for funding. I use it anywhere I might be tempted to do a stand alone sequence, without actually downloading a sequence into the controller, and having the fun of forgetting it was there. They are a very useful little box.
