Mario
Howdy from New Zealand! Am about to lace the light strings around my pvc for the arches (4 of them- 6 chanels each) and was wondering whether to use all clear bulbs or multi coloured bulbs. For those people who have put these together, what looks best, all clear or all multi coloured or a mixture of both?? I could put one together to see, but if it doesn't look right I would have to redo the whole thing and Christmas is nearly here!!! Any ideas would be most welcome. Cheers all. Mario. John
I used all warm white M5 led's on mine. You might want to take a look at the Lauderdale Christmas web site here: http://www.lauderdalechristmas.com/how-to.htmHe used both clear and blue lights wrapped together on the arches. Mario
Thanks for that John. I was thinking on those lines myself. It can be a little hard to determine the colours used when watching the videos on the net, probably due to the video quality etc. Thanks again, Mario. vipzach
I like the look of all blue or white. Don't think I have seen them wrapped in multi.
George Simmons
I'm not a big fan of multi minis and would recommend against that choice. The problem with multi's is as soon as they start to fade - as quickly as the first season - the colors all begin to blend together and lose their individuality. From a distance, at least to my eyes, they seem to blur into no color at all and blend into background. I have always preferred individual colors to provide depth and to differentiate from one item to the next. And no doubt there are just as many people who will give advice advocating for multi's. It's really personal preference.
