kzaas
I have a CTB16B Blue board address 2 that I can't get the firmware to upgrade on. I have the network directly connected to it as a single board. I waited for longer than a minute and it still didn't start downloading and I tried this numerous times so then I did as suggested and after 15 seconds of pushing the download button, I reset the power on the board but it still didn't download. On the board the LED is blinking two short blinks and 1 long blink. I was able to upgrade board address 1 with no problems. Any suggestions? cmoore60
Try doing a board reset then try downloading the firmware.Chuck
kzaas
I already tried doing that. The one thing I noticed is that board 1 is a deluxe CTB16D and boards 2,3, 6 and 7 are all standard boards and I can't get any of those to load. is there a differnet version of firmware for those that whats in the LOR "Firmware" directory on the computer? cmoore60
There is not a difference between the deluxe board and the standard board. The deluxe stuff is external to the processor. With the board plugged in and everything connected. What is the status of the LED?Chuck
kzaas
While idle the LED is on solid. When I try to start the download the LED has two short blinks and one long blink cycling over and over.
cmoore60
When you start the download and it does not progress, try unplugging the power plug and replugging with the hardware utility active.I do recall something similar to this in the past and cannot seem to go back far enough in the search to find.I know for a fact that if you tried the wrong firmware for the blue board, like select the green board that it will tell you.Chuck
kzaas
I already tried that too. It's got to be something in common with these standard boards.
kzaas
I figured it out:). In step one in the hardware utility, for board 1 which is a CTB16D, boards 4 and 5 which are CTB16PC's, I had "Selected unit listed above" clicked as my selection. But it wouldn't work for my other boards. When I changed my selection to "Only one unit is connected" the other boards downloaded just fine. Thanks for trying to help. This site, though it didn't fix this particular problem that I was having, is the greatest source for anything when it come to LOR. It has given me alot of great ideas and inspiration. And I thank all members of this site for all thier great input.
