Guest guest
I have 2 animated deer. Both have very small motors in them. Can I put them on a LOR controller? The docs say for lighting only, but because the motor is so small I wondered if it would be ok.Thanks,Jeremy
Guest guest
I can't answer the motor question, but I have two deer in my sequences. I just don't plug in the motor, only the lights. When they are flashing during the show, you can't tell they are stationary.Scott
Guest guest
As long as you do not fade the channels up or down, or use any other intensities other than 0% (off) and 100% (on), then you should be fine. I am running two deer, two polar bears, and a moose with LOR and they all have motors and they work absolutely fine. Will Sanders
Guest guest
As was said, you can control it if you don't fade (always stay at 100% or off).Even better, disconnect the motor from the lights, and run it from a second circuit, which is always on during your display hours. That will give you more flexibility than the other way, and it's better on the motor to keep running vs. starting and stopping a lot.-Tim
Guest guest
Thanks guys! I totally spaced on disconnecting the motor from the lights. I will do that...Thanks,Jeremy
Guest guest
I do the same thing. I've got my deer motor hooked to a digital timer and the lights on the deer hooked to a LOR channel.
