Spinning Mega Tree

Does anyone out there have an LOR animation file for an 8 channel spinning mega tree they would share as an example of how to do it.

I have a 16 channel board. At this point, I am planning on dividing the channels as follows:

  1. Mega tree with Channel 1- 8 (all the same color) - basically just to spin the tree, etc.
  2. Same Mega tree as above will have Channel 9 (alternate color than those on 1 - 8 so I can change tree to another solid color)
  3. 3 smaller trees (like the mini trees) will have 2 channels each of two different colors (this will take up channels 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15)
  4. Channel 16 will be for strobes

At this point, I only plan on running animation only (not with music). This will be so I have an area in my blowmold display with some other interesting activity.

Anyone want to share a sequence similar to what I am planning or do any of you have suggestions for more effective use of the channels?

Thanks!

Brian,

I took a few minutes and put together a short sequence that has the parts as you described. Channels 1-8 are the MegaTree segments, Channel 9 is MegaTree solid color, (10-11, 12-13, 14-15) are three small trees with two colors each and Channel 16 is strobes.

It is not at all fancy but it does have the channel names labeled, and setup to run on Unit01.... You can extend the time and add more stuff to it but it will give you a good starting point.

Click HERE and save to your PC.

EDIT: BTW I included an animation window so you can see how things would look.

Dan Thanks for the demo animation sequence.

It was neat to see it in action. I too was wondering how it was done.

Being a newbie, I am always learning something fron these forums.
