Guest guest
I am a blowmolder that now has a LOR160xW. Watch out!Anyway, please help me. I hooked up the unit, ran the hardware utility and the unit is found. ID is 01. I plugged in some lights and try to run the tests. Nothing happens! What am I doing wrong. I start the sequence editor, make a quick test animation and I run an animation sequence to see if it plays. Nothing happens. Please help (even though I probably did not give you enough info).Thanks. Guest guest
ok first thing I would try is too make sure you have enabled the shows in the LOR control pannleThen make sure you hit the save button once you set up a show in the schedular. Also can you light up the lights by using the hardware utility.I am new at this but I am getting the hold of it. All of the solutions I gave you are one I needed to run my new LOR.Hope this works.Richard
Guest guest
No. The tests do not work from the hardware utility. The unit is found, but when I try to send commands to the channels, the lights I have plugged in do not do anything.I did save a small animation sequence and nothing. Can someone list the steps I should follow in order? I read the LOR help files anc check the WIKI and cannot find a topic that addresses my issue. Why would it find the unit but the unit does not respond? I have the cat5 cable in the correct terminal. Could the fuses in the board be bad?

Could the fuses in the board be bad? When the unit is found, you will have a SOLID red LED light on the board. If you do you not have then, then you might have a problem. Before I confuse you ... 16 channels, right? One power cord or two?
Guest guest
2 power cords. I pligged both in. From the hardware utility, the unit is found during auto configure and the blinking light turns solid. 16 channels. Maybe I need to reset the unit like you cold boot a computer? Can that be done? Can that be done?A reset is done by unplugging both power cords and the cat5, setting both unit selector dials to zero, plug in for 10 second, unplug and reset to unit 01 (in your case). Now try it again by plugging in the power cords and the cat5 - see if the problem goes away.
Guest guest
Make sure the channels are assigned in the sequence. This was the problem in another recent post. I was the same way last year, Forgot to assign the channels. If the hardware utility finds the board and the led light goes solid, then you got a good communication from the computer to the board.Make sure that the show is enabled. Guest guest
My guess is that a reset will fix this as described by Bill Foley.
