Guest guest Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 I received my three 16 channel diy kits with heavy duty heatsinks yesterday, but with a 2 and a half year old and a two month old at home i won't be able to start building until the weekend. Guest guest Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 The kits are extremely easy to build. Check and recheck before you solder! Use the correct irons that they specify too. Nice to have an oh-sh!t iron too in order to suck out solder from accidents. Only a couple so far.Definetly use some blue masking tape to hold down the parts while they are upside down. By my 3rd board, I was able to install the entire first couple of pages of parts with blue tape, then turn it over and solder it all at once.
