Guest guest Posted June 5, 2006 Share Posted June 5, 2006 I installed the LOR software on the computer. The software installation for the RS 485 adapter is complete. The 16-channel showtime controller is plugged in, and the LED light was on steady. I also hooked up the CAT5 cable to the RS 485 Adapter, and hooked up the cord to the USB drive.Now to the problem...I tried using the LOR hardware utility to find the 16-channel Showtime controller. I did "Auto-Configure" using the Comm 4 network. When doing this, it could not locate the LOR Showtime controller in the network.What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest Posted June 5, 2006 Share Posted June 5, 2006 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember Dan or someone saying something about a new Hardware Utility being needed to use the USB connections.Okay, found it. Here's the thread.
