WeissWelsh
Hello,I need to order lights soon due to the pre-order deadline.I was wondering if someone happens to know the answer to this question. When wrapping lights tightly around a metal pole or around PVC piping (for arches or whatever,) how many inches will a typical 100 light string (4 inch spacing between lights) take up on the pole.Obviously, this will vary depending on the diameter of the pole or PVC pipe, so if anyone knows the answer for various pole diameters, that would be extremely helpful. This question will be asked on Planet Christmas too. Thanks so much!!Bob
Dan Ancona
For 1/2 or 3/4 you should run approx 18 inches. (there abouts...)

George Simmons
I use 3/4" sch 40 gray pvc and I wrap the lights tight. I get 17 inches per 100-light set.
friskybri
man George you must really yank on the stand. I kept them close and only got about 15.5" out of a section on 3/4pvc. I thought that I wrapped them tight
George Simmons
Huh? If you cover only 15.5" and I cover 17" it is YOU who's the champion yanker, is it not?
