Channel Timing

Is it possible with S2 to have separate timings on 2 different channels or sets of channels. Seems I am unable to copy and paste timing from sequence 1 to sequence 2 channels 1-16 without it changing all of the channels on sequence 2. Does the timing have to be the same on every channel in a sequence? If so can you explain how I do it?

Timings have to be the same for every channel in a track.

That is probably the main purpose of tracks. To have seperate timings for different groups of channels.
