-klb- Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 The booster function is primarily important if you have a Easy Linker, or iDMX that you want to power, without a controller nearby.. You could also power the first gen DC card from the booster for testing, but the newer versions won't work that way..What I vaguely remember being important about the booster version is that it is supposed to be able to switch between transmit and receive faster.. This would imply that if you are using the interactive features, that it would waste less time, or usable bandwidth switching modes... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
