Head and arm movement

Hello!

I was told to ask this question here:

For halloween this year I was to make a head move from left to right and an arm move up and down! Thats it, starting simple.

SO what do you think is the best way to do this?

Here is what I have so far:

1. Use a DC board and RC motors for left right up and down

2. Use a DIO and servo????(I searched the forum and found nothing under servoes)

3. Use DMX (cant find a dmx controlled motor)

4. Use X-10 (with no explanation)

Please help!

Thank you in advance!

Eric

Do you want LOR/Dmx to control this all the time or just a moving prop?

Simple moving prop you can make some type of flying crank ghost.

Check out this forum, I'm new to it myself. Lots of info on there, some LOR user too.

Follow HalloweenBob's building of a 3-axis head using RC servos on Halloweenforum.com . You can control these with the existing 8 channel CTB-08D board. This board as 2 servo pins which would contol nod and side-to-side.
