EricFromKansas
I decided to get organized for 2009 and group my show pieces into different tracks (roof, trees, arches, etc) so I could handle them easier. I'm running v2.1.6 with 206 channels, all tracks are the same time frame (.05) with none hidden. When I run the show from the sequencer program the time scales between tracks are all over the place, like +/- a few seconds. This wouldn't be a big problem if your working within one track, but if your trying to sequence a show between tracks it drives you crazy. This subject was discussed briefly in a post back in Feb 2008 (search - time scale sync), but nothing was decided. So my question is... Is there a way to line up the time scales between tracks or do I need to return to having everything in one track?Eric

However, it is confusing. If you are working on a particular "screen" then the tracks will stay aligned. Why does it act that way? The tracks run independently so their positions on the screen will get out of alignment while they are being played. This is especially noticeable when one track has a vertical scroll bar and the other does not. A track with a scroll bar has a little less time displayed on the screen so it's "pages" are smaller and flip more often. Although the track may not be in physical alignment with the other other track(s) on the screen, the current play position one each track is correct so everything happens as expected. When you adjust the scroll bar the tracks snap back into alignment. Now with all that said, it is somewhat disconcerting and we plan to make changes.
