hz36t5 Posted December 11, 2008 Share Posted December 11, 2008 I have 3 1602W's connected. Unit #2 in the chain of three has about 40ft of rope light connected to one of the channels. When the show is playing and I the rope light is fading down, the lights flicker when almost completely faded down (Will flash bright once). It actually bleeds over to two other channels (they also flash) when this happens. It only does this during the show. I have checked the sequences (All 4 songs in my show). They all have the issue. I dont see the problem when I run the Hardware utility.I upgraded to CTB16D_Blue_4-30.lhx on all controllers and I am running 2.1.2 of the software. cmoore60 Posted December 11, 2008 Share Posted December 11, 2008 What kind of power supply on the rope light? Is the rope light LED?Might try adding a snubber. For me I have snubbers that are a single C-9 bulb and socket on a 1 foot piece of SPT with male and female ends.
