CLD Kevin
I purchase 2 - LOR1602W. When I plug in just left side, ch1-8 AC plug, the unit will not power on. I have to plug in ch 9-16 as well for the unit to power on and LED status light to blink. Is this normal operation? No problem with all 16 channels working, but wondering if both AC plugs need to be power for just ch1-8 to work? If I only plug in the right side, ch9-16 and leave the left off, the unit powers on, but only for ch9-16. It's just the left side, ch1-8 will not work alone without plugging in the right side.I searched around and read the manual, but maybe I missed something. Is this normal?Maybe I answered my own question?
bisquit476
The right side powers the circuit board in addition to ch's 9-16, CH 1-8 won't work without the right side powered.
Robin
Yup, that is the way it is designed. The right side is the control side.
