Ckathman Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I am experiencing an issue with one of my AC controllers where channel 1 is staying lit at all times and channels 14-16 are not turning on at all. All channels in between are acting normally. I am using the same LED props as last year and I didn't have any issues last year. I verified that all connections were solid and that the SPT1 cord is still intact. Could this be an issue with the controller itself? Would a hard reset be necessary? Or, are there any other troubleshooting efforts I can begin to figure this out?
TheDucks Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Just to get clear on how you set up. These do not use the standard LOR 3 pin AC dangles? Did you use Vampire sockets and direct connect (1/4" female ends) at the controller? Vampire prongs can rust or no be centered on substandard SPT1 (I have some that is skinny and the cord can miss.) Are you sure the Vampires are ALSO for SPT1? OK Port 1 is probably a blown TRIAC. Is it on Half Brite or Full? 1

I have successfully figure out the issue. Although, the issue wasn't what I thought it was, your response had me thinking in a different way of troubleshooting. I went through the Hardware Utility and updated the firmware. That wasn't the issue either, but had I not gone through this process, I would not have noticed the issue with the Unit ID.
