I finally got the video recording correctly. For those who video, don't under estimate the light from a full moon. My settings from last year were close to perfect but after filming 6 seq with 4 camera angles I found out that the videos were too dark. I changed it 1 stop and got my video tonight instead. No moon this week, there was a full one last year at this time. Filming LED Christmas lights is always a challenge when in a seq since the brightness changes all the time. For this year and no moon, I found this to be the correct exposure:

50/sec, Tungsten WB at 3200, ISO100, F5.6 (F8 with a full moon)
