Mike_Geppert Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Using v6.3.6 Pro with the LOR Singing Trees. We used the Super Star to sequence the faces. Seems to work fine. Then we transfer the sequence ("loredir") to a new computer, and we get the attached dialog box claiming the mp3 is missing (this is expected and we can attach to the correct mp3) and a "Number of files referenced by motion effects that cannot be found" and lists a bunch of AVI files. I am guessing these might be the Audio files we created for each Singing tree for Super Star to analyze to move the lips (Works Fantastic by the way). Playing the sequence and the motion effects for the singing trees are gone? All we have to do is reopen Super star and the motion effects seem to be there we then close the files and all seems to be good on that computer. What are we missing in the process? Need to move the files around between 3 computers and one of them is remote (the one actually driving the show) I also noticed that the procedure between the singing pumpkins and the trees are different? The Trees have to be massaged a bit to get them to work in super star, where the pumpkins you actually down load the super star version and they just work. Thanks! Mike
k6ccc Posted November 25 Posted November 25 You needed to transfer the .avi files. That is what SuperStar uses to transfer the files into the Sequencer.
Steven Posted November 25 Posted November 25 The AVI file is created by SuperStar, and it is used by the show player and the Sequencer when you play all or part of the sequence. It contains the "compiled" SuperStar events in the form of a video. The .loredit file includes all the SuperStar events, but the Sequencer and the show player can't interpret them, only SuperStar can. If you're going to be editing the sequences on the new computer, just double-click the SS event from the Sequencer, and SuperStar will regenerate the AVI file.

Those files just work out of the box
k6ccc Posted Thursday at 06:48 PM Posted Thursday at 06:48 PM Off hand, I would assume if you are talking about LOR sequences, they are using Motion Effects and not SuperStar sequencing and therefore do not use .avi files.
