marty h Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Hello and thank you in advance. So since last year I made one new addition to my display. I added a pixie16 light grid to the ground. That being said everything RGB is working fine. If i play last years sequence everything works but of course the new RGB grid I added. So now to the issue I programed 3 new songs. Everything that is RGB is working great. I have 4 AC controllers that I use SS to program and in the preview everything looks great. When I go to play the sequence non of the ac lights work. The AC controllers have a solid green light so I'm confident they are connected just no commands. When looking at the sequences the motion effect rows are white rather than black. So that got me thinking maybe my license needed upgraded. I had Pro Edition with Superstar 40CCR. I upgrade to 80CCR but still the sequences AC motion effect rows are white. Do I need more CCR's? What am I missing. Here is everything I am running this year 3 Pixie 16's 2 Pixie 4's 6 Ac controllers
TheDucks Posted November 20 Posted November 20 How many networks? Please list the speed and mode for each. I can say off the top of my head: Those AC controllers CAN NOT be on the same network needed for a Pixie16 And only a Gen3 AC can even run above 115K. 3 @ Pixie 16 is way too many for any network . Depending on your layout (geography) . you might get away with 1 Pixie4 AND a pixie 16 on a network.
marty h Posted November 20 Author Posted November 20 I have all the ac controllers on reg lor 57k I have aux a,B,c that run Pixie at 500k

The Pixie4 could share that network if you cranked up the speed. TNX that info helps us diagnose. That is not what is stopping things.
MattBrown Posted November 20 Posted November 20 The SuperStar effects must be for props that are on an enhanced network. So those AC controllers must be Gen3 and the regular network must be enhanced.
marty h Posted November 20 Author Posted November 20 (edited) I only use the ss for programming the ac lights. Its never been an issue until these 3 new songs. i used ss to program my ac lights last year with no issues. i can try using enhanced network and see. I honestly don’t remember what i wrote to sd card last year. Also when I look at those props on last years songs the motion effect rows are black as they should be. This year they are black until I save them then back to white. That's why i wondered if my license was not high enough ccr's thank you. Edited November 20 by marty h

Not sure if the SD Card system still works the same as in the Hub 4.4.16 Pro, but when I don't remember what I set my parameters to on my SD Card, I use the EDIT SD Card option in the hub and select show # to edit, then I just go for a rewrite to the SD Card, but I DO NOT ACTUALLY REWRITE THE CARD. Editing(viewing) each show file and going through the edit process shows me everything I set for each network for my Director. And when I've copied the info from it, I cancel the SD Card write, then do the same for each additional show file on my SD Card. The Director will usually populate all the info without you having to change anything. That's how I check my SD Cards for previous years. Then I make my changes and rewrite using the same parameters if nothing has changed, or new parameters if new controllers, props or lights were added. I would think the edit SD Card feature would be in the latest LOR Software and still function the same way. If it does, hope this might help you find out how you wrote your show files for the previous year on your SD Card. I've been using this technique for years.
