Darrell Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Is there any way to change the display order so that a motion effects row is displayed (and acted upon) after the member props rows? The sequencer does not seem to let me change the order of motion effects to show below the member props of that group. I have a couple of prop groups where I have create a group motion row and created a background color/effect across the full group. Then I created different effects/colors for just specific prop members in that group. Since the prop members always displays under the group motion effects, the group effects become a background while the specific channels play the pattern I want. Is there anyway to reverse this order. I have a pixel star that I want to spell out letters/color patterns on sections of the star and then have a group motion effects in the forefront of those pixels. Specifically, I want letters displayed with fire or lightening splashed across the letter/color background. Thanks Darrell
Box on Rails Posted November 19 Posted November 19 No I don't think so because the group members are the actual props within the group and any effect in the member will overlay the group Motion effect. The way to do this is to create Group motion effects rows with Custom rows for each part of the group you want to show seperate from the others. then you will be able to set the order of the ME rows. In addition, you can make as many custom ME rows as you need. Another thing you can do to help with the group clutter on the sequencer tree is to remove the Group members from the tree by right clicking on the group members and clicking on Hide Group Members. hope this makes sense.
