150 pixels on pixie 16 controller

I change my 270 trees from 50 pixels ( 1 every 3rd hole on strips) to 150 pixels. On the test button, all 150 light, but on sequences the top third do not. I changed the preview to 150 and set up the controller  for 150 per, but still no top 3rd lights.  Help!

Have you adjusted the intensity of the nodes?  If you are running at 100% that may be the problem.  Good luck!

Tried it, but keep getting a warning on preview. It stops me from changing pixel count from 100 to 150. Tried intensity at 50 % linear and pixel.

Also the entire 150 strings light on the test.

It seems like the preview is stopping get it?

If I can't get it to work with 150 pixels, I have to remove all 4800 bullet pixels and adjust the 32 strands to 100 each. Yuk!

you should post your preview so someone can look at it.

I will, but I'm working 12 hrs shifts thru Wednesday evening.  Will post it on Thursday.

Just to clarify. Did you change the prop preview to 450 circuits pre string?

No 150. Do i need yo change them to 450?

I've got my max circuits at 300 And was setting the prop preview for 150per string. Do I need to change them both to 450?

YES. A Pixel is a color (channel). a Node is 3 pixels  (RGB channels)

Will try it when I get home  thank you.

I had my son check the controller and it's a Pixie 16 D ver 4.

Also, check firmware verion to make sure it supports it. First step is to use HU and configure it to 150 and then setup your preview to match,

Thanks to all who responded.  Changing the max circumstances to 450 did the trick and saved me from having to remove 4800 bullet pixels bulbs from stripes and put them back in with only 100 per strand. THANKS AGAIN!

To clarify this further. A Pixel Has three diodes, One red, One Green and one Blue. Each diode is a circuit (sometime referred to as Channels). If you have 50 pixels on a string, you have 150 circuits. 2 strings of 50 would be 300 circuits and 3 strings of 50 would be 450 ctecuts. when you create a prop or add a prop. check the Max circuit box in the upper right to make sure it matches the exact number of circuits per port (universe).  If you are using 3 strings with 150 pixels you would make sure that box reads 450 not the default 512. This let's the software knows at the end of circuit 450 to send the next circuit's data to the next Port's Circuit 1. If say you have a 150 pixel string on the prop but you set the Max circuit to 300 then the software will send only data to 100 pixels and  the last 50 pixels will remain dark. If the prop has multiple strings(ports), after the 300th circuit receives it's data it send the next set of data to the next port. In this scenario If you have 150 pixels per string only the first 100 pixels will light up on each string. Just remember that Smart Pixels for the most part are multiplied by 3. One pixel equals 3 circuits (or Channels). Another term you will see is Port, This is an LOR term that means the same as Universe which is a DMX term. Whether you use the term Port or Universe they both mean String of Smart Pixels. It's only taken me 15 years to learn some of the technical terms. I am still learning evry day. hope this helps a bit.
