My Pixie 16 controller for my 16x50 with star quit working. Is it possible to connect (2) 8 Pixie together to make it work with the star?

Yes.  Set up one of the Pixie 8 controllers so that the Unit ID is the same as that for the Pixie 16 and plug the first eight strings from the Pixie 16 into first Pixie 8.  Then set up the second Pixie 8 so it's Unit ID is 8 higher than the Unit ID set for the first Pixie 8 (remember it counts in Hex).  Then plug the last 8 strings from the Pixie 16 into the second Pixie 8.

Just set the addresses correctly. The 9th port is now on the second Pixie8
