I have several WOW sequences that I have used in the past.  This year- I am trying to add two v2 LOR singing faces.  I do not know how to convert the WOW singing faces to the LOR faces.  I was told on the Facebook forum to “Match” but have no idea how to do that or what it even means.  I am looking for a bit of direction- point me to the right area and I will go from there.

You have to add the LOR Faces to Your Preview, first.... then you can either Copy and Paste the effects from WoW-Trees to the LOR-Trees..

Or you can Match (Map) the new LOR Tree(s) effects to the existing WoWlights Trees effects..

Thank you Jimenc.  I added the props and set them up with the appropriate box (I know that is not the right name to call it)- however, when I tried to copy and paste- instead of one line- it pasted to all.  For example- I selected the row for the outline of the WOW tree.  Clicked “r” to get the complete row.  But when I then went to the LOR tree outline row- and hit control v, it pasted to an entire section of rows.

I know I am close—-what am I doing wrong? I could not figure out how to map the new LOR trees to the WOW effects. How do I do that?  Maybe that would be easier?  I really appreciate your help (and patience!).

Expand the wowlights tree rows (Channel level) and copy just the first Channel Row and paste into LOR Tree Effect

Thank you again!  I will try that tonight-

Although, I have figure out that if you Change the WoWlight Tree to Dumb RGB, you can Map it to the LOR trees...  I am on 6.3.6, and what sucks is with Smart RGB it automatically adds a Motion Effect Row and still keeps the Channel Level Sequencing... Oh by the way I am Guy on Facebook....

OK- I am beyond frustrated!  For some reason, I cannot copy these correctly.  So- I moved to a new sequence that already includes the LOR faces.  I assign a unit ID and it should work- but it doesn't.  So, seeing if all my other props are working- now some do, some don't.  And, any change I make changes all sequences----so, I have messed up everything.

Here is my new question- I have last year's SD card.  I am worried, however, that if I connect to it and import those to try and work with- they will pick up all the messes I have made to these previews.  Do you know- can I delete all of these messed up sequences - wipe the slate- and start over with those on the SD card?  Almost like I am starting as a new user?  If  I can do that do you know how I go about it?

Thanks for your help and patience- I am about to throw the towel in this year---

IF and that is a BIG IF, the Sequences were included on the SD-Card... The Show Files usually written to SD Card are of no help to ya...

But If you delete Existing (Messed Up) Preview from Preview Tab and then open a sequence from LAST YEAR (Untouched this year) - it will import Last Years Preview that the sequence was using at that time......

Then open Messed Up Sequences from this year - and choose to revert back to the Older Preview Version....

The Main Problem between LOR and WoW - is LOR uses Dumb Sequencing for Faces and Smart Motion Effect Rows....

The Updated WoW Sequences, ($25 Upgrade Fee) would match better because of the use of Smart Motion Effect Rows...

I have been messing with Wow Tree Issue(s), since you and others before you posted on FB, to find I reasonable way for the two to play nice with each other, But it has been a process (which I did Figure out) But not easy to explain as the Mouths are setup different too.. Although No Problem if you were using WoW Trees

Thanks for your response.  I was able to open an "old" preview to avoid many of the things I had messed up- great idea- and thank you.

Newest challenge- Back to the LOR faces.  The sequence I used includes the singing LOR faces.  I have 2- however, they were both singing together.  I looked further- and they were both set to the default ID of the box (30).  I changed renamed one to a new ID of 34- and thought I set it up properly.  It shows as such- and even shows on the preview- but doesn't work in reality.  I have no idea how to fix that.  I also seemed to have lost some items in the preview from before.  I had 3 pixel trees (smaller, 100 string) as well as a larger tree (16 strands of lights (6' tall) and I cannot find them in the sequence.  I went to add them using the ID's they had before- and I get a conflict message that they are already being used by the original prop that I cannot find!

Man- I have created a mess!  Any help- and you will be a hero in my household- my wife is getting tired of me working on this and complaining!
