Little_b
I use LOR to run my house lights and Landscape Lights year-round. I usually don't have any issues. The last couple weeks since adding my Halloween Show, I'm having issues with the player shutting off. What I mean is, is that the "Blue"bulb goes from blue to "Red." I go back in and click "Enable Schedule" and it runs again just fine. Luckily it hasn't shut down while running a show, just sometime inbetween. It's not an everyday ocurrance or happens on a specific day. I've gone in and erased the enire Schedule and Calendar files and redid them thinking it may be the cause, but no change. Any ideas on a cause or fix?
TheDucks
Is the CONTROL PANEL set to Launch at startup (of windows)? Window updates may be doing a restart
Little_b
It is set to start up, but here's the thing, my show computer hasn't been connected to the internet for any updates since I last updated LOR to 5.6.10 well over a year ago. (I know there are new releases, but I haven't' got that far and haven't had major issues with this version) The laptop does a automatic restart every Sunday, but the Control Panel opens back up. The issue happens randomly and not after the restart.

Little_b
I've never had to terminate any networks in the past, plus nothing has changed with the controllers at this point. Maybe I don't fully understand, but Lack of termination isn't going to make the show player stop. It might cause/fix data errors, but won't stop the show from playing. dgrant
One thing I found was to check the device USB power settings in the computer itself. The Power tab within may be allowing the computer to automatically shut down the USB ports to save power, as if it was on a laptop. Go to the device manager, select USB Serial Devices or similar, select your USB device you are connected too, properties, then click on the Power Management Tab. If the box is checked to allow it to be turned off by the computer, uncheck that box.
