adding controller to existing sequence

For the first time since upgrading to version 5.5.18, I want to add another controller. I've created a new preview with 16 new channels and set them to the new unit/channel, but I cannot find how to add the controller to my existing sequences. In the older software version, I would right click on the last channel and add a devise. That option is no longer there.

You need to add the controller to your current preview.

Or if you create a new Preview, you need to assign the new Preview to each sequence.

I’ve already created the preview and drew in the lights, designated the channels for the new controller. How do I add a device (controller) to my existing sequences?

You said that you created a new preview with the additional channels.  Did you assign that preview to the sequences?

This is all from memory at the moment...

When you load your sequence (with the old preview ) at the top I think edit, you should be able to add or change your preview.  The preview sets what devices there are.  during that process you may need to match up your channels.  there are some quick ways to do that if if you have a lot of sequences your going to modify (IE save the map file for use again because each sequence will need to get the new preview).  Dont forget to save.  you may want to save it with a new name like "let it snow 2024" or "V2" v for version.

I think you could also modify your old preview and you will just have to open each sequence and resave.  in your old preview go to edit once editing the preview Go to "add" , "devices"  you can find your controller.  something roughly like that.
