gsmith37064
This is a strange one. I have the Boscoyo Arch with Bat/Snowflake built into it. I have the Bat/Snowflake on Universe 3 and testing the lights in the control panel is successful. All light up the correct color. The prop is 1 to 146 for the pixel count inside the prop builder. I have all the pixels installed in the prop. There was no wiring diagram so I plugged them in any and every which way. It's really messy. The motion rows are built correct and show up correctly on the payback screen. But... On the physical prop itself, the pixels light up at a different area. I may turn on the inner circle motion row in the sequence editor, but a right arm may come on instead on the physical prop. Thoughts on what could be wrong? k6ccc
Off hand, sounds like the physical placement of the pixels does not match between the preview and reality.

Would that really matter if you select the pattern you want from the pixels in the motion row? Does it really care where pixels 35-45 physically are at in the prop? If so, I may have to figure something else out as my thumbs are getting sore now from pressing pixels the last 2 days. Some of the holes in the prop are greater than 4" so you have to crisscross pixels to get them all in the holes. It's really crazy. I did reach out to Boscoyo to see if there is a wiring diagram. I just found a video saying that it must match. Dang it. Boscoyo just sent the wiring diagram. And man they make it look so simple! Thanks for the help Jim. I never would have thought it really mattered on how the pixels are installed with motion rows. Edited August 15 by gsmith37064

If you turn on one leg of a star in the software, and the software thinks that the selected leg is pixels 51-60, so the software turns on pixels 51-60 - except that pixels 51-60 are something completely different on the actual prop. Not gonna look right. 1 hour ago, gsmith37064 said: as my thumbs are getting sore now from pressing pixels the last 2 days. Get a pair of Pixel Pliers. Worth every penny! My pixel tree is 2,600 pixels. Fingers would be raw without them. https://www.wiredwatts.com/pixel-pliers https://boscoyostudio.com/products/pixel-pusher-pliers

I had to redo the Xlight model inside the prop editor for the bat and snow flake. I also had to redo the pixel nodes in the physical prop itself. But once I redid it, it worked like a charm. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
