RF Transmitter for Wands/Bracelets

I bought the DMX RF Transmitter from Wally's and 10 wands to start to play with the possibilities, but I am having no luck.  I have an iDMX1000 set to address DO and on "Regular" network.  I have an XLR cable running from "DMX out" of the iDMX1000 to the RF Transmitter "DMX in".  It has 5 channels: 1 set to DMX 85, 2 set to 0, 3/4/5 is R/G/B levels 0 to 255, and the RF transmitter is default 001.  I would think that using D0.001 through D0.005 should do the trick, but nothing.  One thing I noted using the HW Utility to bench test it is that I cannot seem to set it to 85; it changes it to 84 and LOR 33%.  Does anyone have any experience with this?  I searched the forum but nothing came up.  I have used this iDMX1000 before with no issues (I have since removed all DMX from my show; straight LOR (until now)).

I use these to send the raw DMX from my Entec Pro to my lasers and moving heads. Been very reliable even from my basement to the front yard. https://a.co/d/4zhCjl3

I also use them year round inside for testing.

Thanks for the response, but this looks like something to replace the 2' XLR cable between my iDMX1000 and the RF transmitter.  I think I am fighting a different problem, I just don't know what yet.  :)

I tried that and found the same thing. It must be a bug, because setting the "Controller Type" to "iDMX1000 - DMX" should allow you to specify any DMX value.
