gdammann
Hello, We recently purchased a 16 channel AC controller using traditional lights. We also purchased 4 Singing Trees (traditional lights). I believe the trees are from Holiday Coro. This is all foreign to me so hopefully someone can help. We also have sequences and the songs for the trees. Honestly starting out people said LOR would be simple and it's anything, but simple to me. I am hoping after the learning curve it becomes much easier. I purchase the software 6.2.18 from LOR. When I open the Control app I am assuming I click on Sequences. From there it asks "new musical sequence or New animation sequence" I click new musical because I want to add music to the show. From there it asks me to pick a file. I pick an audio file, it then pops a page that says New Musical Sequence. There is a box for Select Preview, Box for Music,Box for Initial timing. It automatically has the music info in the music box. I push create at the bottom. From there it loads and a tapper wizard window pops open. I have no idea what that means so I push exit. I have my 4 singing trees loaded in the preview design. It does pop up said other warnings and list a bunch. How do I know what master prop is? So from here I have no idea what to do. How do I get it where I can see the trees singing on the screen. Feeling a little defeated and would appreciate and welcome any information or help anyone may have to offer. Thank you, Grace Untitled document-8.pdf
TheDucks
4 singing (traditional AC lights) use about 8 channels PER Tree. The mouth uses most. You might double up on the outline (those will be on together, but that only saves a channel or 2) You need 3 or 4 AC controllers
k6ccc
At the top of the forum, on the big blue bar, look for "FAQ's - **LOOK HERE**". Click that and pay attention to "Typical Setups" and "Video tutorials". Spend a while watching tutorials and most of your questions will be answered.

gdammann
@dgander Thank you! I saw that on a post yesterday and signed up right away! I appreciate the help! @k6ccc Thank you I've been watching videos all day!! Hopefully at some point this will all click! 🙈 @TheDucks Thank you! I appreciate the feedback! I am guessing I am getting the error codes because I have too many trees assigned to a channel?
TheDucks
These are AC (light) trees? A channel is 1 output . You could treat all 4 as a SINGLE TREE (the same item / shape, plugged into the same port). You still need 8 channels FOR a Tree. As Individual trees, That uses 2 AC controllers
