steve synek Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Does anyone have any knowledge/ suggestions as to why I can't open the control panel portion of my software. I am running windows xp. I have made a sequince that works but can not open the control panel to turn on the show. I know I have to open the control panel and triger the run show, but Control does not open. Nothing happens when I slect contol panel from my program menue. All other option seem to be working. I no longer have the icon in my task bar. I tried to reinstall S2, and have wiped the registry clean. I don't know much about computers. All suggestions welcome at this point.
Tim Fischer Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Selecting "control panel" normally just activates the "light bulb" in the task bar. Not to ask a dumb question, but are you sure it isn't there, and just hidden by Windows? Try clicking on the little arrow on the left of the task bar to expand it...-Tim
