BassLakeLights Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 This is my first year getting into this, so be kind. :) I purchased a LOR sequence that appears to have been converted from Xlights. I thought it would be easy to import, but I was wrong again. It appears the LOR file has props which are DMX. So I am struggling trying to figure out how to map them to my props. In particular, it is a 16x50 tree, star and singing face. Is there a simple process to do that?
Jeremiah Ackermann Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Did you create your own preview or did it import from trying to use the sequence? Its best to create your own preview, but you could start by copying the one that imported if that happens to be the case. Then once in your preview, edit the props to use LOR instead of DMX if you are using Pixies.
BassLakeLights Posted November 8, 2023 Author Posted November 8, 2023 I do have my own preview and have existing sequences working that were purchased from LOR. When I try to open the sequence, I get this.
Jeremiah Ackermann Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 You should be able to hit next and go through the steps. It looks like you only have two singing trees but the sequence had four, so there are unmatched props.
BassLakeLights Posted November 9, 2023 Author Posted November 9, 2023 I did do that initially. However, it is mapping the singing trees to the lights on the windows and doors. And, I think I messed up and this sequence is for a 16x50 and I have a 16x25. So, I found a superstar effect and tried that for the matrix. But.. That appears to be even more complicated and may need a different license. So now I'm 120 bucks into it and still getting no where. Just to find a sequence for the Grinch song! Yeah. I'm a idiot.
k6ccc Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 This may be easier with a remote session. Do you have TeamViewer on your computer? 1
BassLakeLights Posted November 9, 2023 Author Posted November 9, 2023 I can send a Zoom. I am on EST.
