MBGHouse
I have watched all the videos, and I feel like I have tested everything. I can get my lights to test and they work. I can get my sequence to work (minus the singing face) in the preview. When I try to run it, I cannot get it to run. One of them will run the face only. Some of them won't run anything. Thank you in advance!
k6ccc
First of all, how are you trying to play them - i.e, via a show, a show 0n demand, override sequence, from Sequencer, etc? Are all of the sequences using the same Preview?
MBGHouse
We are trying to save the show from the sequencer, and then create a show and play it from the control panel. I am using the same preview for all songs. The preview plays in the sequencer (well all except for the singing face). The songs play in the show, but the lights don’t (well on one the singing face does). We tested the lights they are connected on the test.
Jimehc
when in the Control Panel - click "Network" what is it showing? the Network setting must match the network settings used in the Preview...
MBGHouse
Comm3 and Regular. Our stakes and arches automatically defaulted to aux. we only have one network though. Do we need two different ones for the faces, and other props?
Jimehc
If the props in your preview are using two networks (Reg & AuxA) - then the show player needs those two networks too.. Else all the props in your Preview need to be on the same network.. Edited October 12, 2023 by Jimehc
k6ccc
And Don't use the Auto-Configure - especially if you have more than one network. Edited October 13, 2023 by k6ccc
MBGHouse
I did put them all on the same network in the sequencer. They still do not work. We currently only have one network
k6ccc
If it's a single network, presumably it's the "Regular" network. How is the Regular network for set for speed and Enhanced? Are you sure the controller IDs match between the actual controllers and the settings in the Preview?
Dennis Laff
Can you show how your props are setup in the preview?
MBGHouse
We were able to get one of the shows to play correctly except for the talking face. That would mean the props match the controllers, right? We still don’t have the other sequences working.
Jimehc
if you got one sequence to play correctly on the actual lights - then the "Preview" revision used in that sequence is correct... the sequences that do not play correctly are not using the same Preview revision.. Dennis Laff
MBG you need to show us how you have the props assigned to controllers.
MBGHouse
Update… I started from scratch and I now have all props working but with two problems. I have Gourdy the pumpkin. Even when I change the unit ID, I cannot get him to be the lead singer rather than a backup. He’s the only face we have. Also, I have four sequences. Three of them work. I do the exact same thing to save thriller but it just doesn’t work. None of the lights turn on at all.
Jimehc
Unit ID 30 is usually the Lead Male Singer... Unit ID 36 is usually the Lead Female Singer... And a lot of that depends on the Sequencing... Since you only have 1 Singer - you have have to adjust the sequence to and for the Main Singer.. MBGHouse
I did put him on unit ID 30. But it has still stayed a back up singer.

The controller has ID switches (I assume they were factory set for the face). Any setting using HU will be forgotten on a power cycle. Either just set the switches to 30 (and mark the controller with ID) or turn 1-9 OFF and use HU to set.
MBGHouse
What is HU? Sorry, I’m new.
