PhilMassey
I am quite used to waiting a few minutes here and there for motion effects to process, and usually fill in the time by working on a second sequence in another tab while I wait. Since loading S6 the wait times have increased. I disabled the ME icons as an obvious suspect, but no change. I just opened a sequence and It took 9 minutes for the red spinner, top left, to turn into a green check. Modifying a motion row by extending it 15 seconds and dragging s ramp down caused a 5 minute intensity recalc. A further adjustment to a 3 second section caused anther 5 minute wait, At this rate it will be Christmas before I finish updating this sequence. Sequence length is under five minutes, 210 MB size, memory used is about 5 of 16 MB.CPU is less than 20% and GPU is essentially 0. Windows 11. Latest updates and drivers. Full disclosure, i have just upgraded to two 28 inch 4k monitors. Reverted to 6.1.10 (uninstall and reinstall) and the delays are back to what I would consider normal. Loading recalc about 2 mins, and virtually no delay after a small change to a motion row. Reloaded 6.2 and the slowness returns. Sequence file is below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0ecu080lxj7wj90/TSO Faith Noel 4m32.loredit?dl=

PhilMassey
Looking good in 6.2.2. In fact it feels quicker than 6.1.10 to me. Many thanks Matt.
