k6ccc
I run a year round evening landscape lighting show that is scheduled from 1600 - 2200 during the week. After the evening show concludes, there is an overnight version that runs until the sun comes up. The evening show is set to start on a trigger when it gets dark (about 1730 currently). For several days throughout the year there is a special show that runs for only one night or maybe a few nights. Valentines Day is one of those. The Valentines Day show is scheduled from 1700 - 2359 and like the evening show, is set to start on a trigger when it gets dark. In the past, this has worked fine. At 1600, the evening landscape show would "start" but wait till the startup trigger to actually start playing. Then at 1700, the calendar date entry for the Valentines show would preempt the evening landscape show and the Valentines show would "start" (also waiting for the dark trigger to actually start). It did not work that way last night. As expected, the evening landscape show started (waiting for the start trigger) at 1600. However the show player shows nothing about the Valentines show at 1700 as expected. However when the year-round evening landscape show ended just after 2200, the Valentines show started and ran until just after midnight. This is on 6.1.10 Pro. One other difference I noted (good thing). In some earlier versions of S6, for a one night show, you had to schedule the show for two nights because apparently the end date assumed 0000 on that date. That apparently has changed because I had set the Valentines show to run from the 14th to the 15th (so that it would run on the 14th), and according to the upcoming shows in the Control Panel, the Valentines show was going to run again tonight. I changed the Valentines show to just run on the 14th and it no longer shows it should run tonight.
