Adding new motion effect row on custom prop

V6.1.8 pro

Trying to add another motion effect row to custom prop and get "Enlarge window to edit custom subsection" in prop playout window" red text at bottom of window.

Please advise.

Have you tried shrinking the custom prop? See the description of the grid menu here: https://www.lightorama.com/downloads/6.1.8/help/custom.htm

The grid is only 115 wide x 368 high.

It is a Boscoyo Chromatree slender 4'

Once prop definition is open the window on the right is disabled and none of the tools are active. And I get that message in red at the bottom of the screen.

115x368 is a large grid. Shrinking it by 50% worked for me. Shrinking by another 50% is possible -- your sequences will calculate faster, but the pixels are a little out of alignment.

Thanks for this feature Matt. I have never been able to thank you here on the forums till now. This added feature eliminated a massive amount of calculating time for me. The alignment part is not that bad in my experience and it is a very acceptable trade off for me. your hard work might go unnoticed by some, but not me. Thank you Matt/
