Its been a while since I added new music to my show. Is the MP3 format still CBR of 192? These are downloaded MP's not CD's.

And does the directors support the CBR of 192?, if above question is yes.?

Thanks

I answered my own question after some more digging. I am going to stay with the recommended 128CBR, 44100 SR. I see some have no issues with the CBR 0f 192.

I'm using a computer to play my show - not a Director.  I have used everything from 128 to 256K (mostly towards the higher end of that range).  But it does need to be CBR.

My older, now deceased DC-MP3 Director would do 192K CBR just fine, the N4-G4 Director I have been using 320K CBR, and I have had ZERO issues with this format at all.  Been using it now going on just a little over 2 years, never had any issues with 320K, 44100, CBR, and i have tried using higher than 44100, and still worked fine.  But I usually stay with 44100 for the most part.
