GraysonLights09 Posted December 30, 2022 Share Posted December 30, 2022 If the show is already running when you make a change to the file, you would need to disable the schedule, and the re enable it after saving your changes. If the show file changes while that file is being played, the show player will detect that the file changed and will restart the show at the end of the current sequence. I am running BobO's MIIP program which allows viewers to change the order of your songs. The part of this that controls the show does this by rewriting the show file shortly before each sequence ends. Overnight, I run two alternating sequences that are each 30 seconds long (and viewers can request any sequence in the show all night long). You can see that 22 seconds after each sequence ends, the player detects that the show's contents have changed. S6 behaves different and so far, MIIP does not work with S6. That means that all of us that use MIIP had to either stay with S5 or downgrade to S5 for this season.
