JD Graffam Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I have my E1.31 on Ethernet, configured in the Advatek helper app, can control it via Advatek helper. I have downloaded a RGB 128 preview and some RGB 128 sequences from WOW Lights that have the pixel tree they sold me in the Preview. But when I open the sequencer, I see this, which shows completely blank "rows" for the entire timeline for the pixel tree, so the pixel tree seemingly isn't programmed. Everything else in the sequence works. My question is: is there something I am missing here? The WOW Lights sequences are listed as compatible with version 5, I am running the latest, 6.1.6. All of the other channels are programmed, but these are blank. The only way to get the pixel tree to show up is to click "Show All Items". The way it is set up, is that all the other "working" props show up under "Track 1" in the dropdown above the props in the timeline. What am I missing? What questions do you have about my setup (have you done this? is this working? etc) that could help you all help me?
dgrant Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 If you click on the small "+" symbol next to each row, that'll open it the one. See if there's anything in there. Usually what most of us have to do when purchasing a sequence is to open both the destination sequence and the purchased one, Then select, copy and paste the contents into the desired pixel tree channels.

Thanks for the quick reply to try and help. Those rows are all entirely blank, too, across the entire timeline. I am actually using the purchased sequence directly, so my destination is the source for now (it's for an entire song and came with the pixel tree, so it ought to work out of the box: WowLights Pixie Pixel Mega Tree Package | WowLights).
dgrant Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 Interesting. Seems they either didn't send you the sequence you purchased or its identified differently. What you may have received is just the setup for the controller, but not the data for the sequence. Did you download all the associated files with your purchase?
JD Graffam Posted November 30, 2022 Author Posted November 30, 2022 They definitely sent a sequence, it's just missing the programming for the pixel tree. I did download everything (that I know of): preview and one sequence file. I'll triple check to see if there's a sub-sequence file to download?
JD Graffam Posted November 30, 2022 Author Posted November 30, 2022 (edited) SOLVED Okay, so with dgrant's help I got it (thanks!). "Did you download all the associated files with your purchase?" was what got me there. The solution is below, hopefully it helps someone some day: One your download page (this screenshot from Nov 2022), you download the 128 RGB from above as your main sequence as they instruct you to, then you also go down lower to the legacy sequences and grab the RGB Layout for your DMX Mega Tree. Then, as dgrant sez, once you install it, copy and paste the timeline from the DMX v4 into your sequence where the pixel tree goes. Edited November 30, 2022 by JD Graffam
