Norcal
Hi guys: my lights went dark in the middle of my show last night. My N4-G-4 is showing the code picture. The director has been working fine with numerous SD cards for the last four days. the sound is still flowing through the FM transmitter. No lights on all 3 networks. I changed the cat five cable from the Director to the first controller no difference. I completely bypass the first controller to the second controller no lights no difference. Any ideas on anything else I can check. thanks Glen. cant add the photo says Init I think!

dgander
I have a mini but encountered a few issues similar. Mine was it just stopped. Others in other threads have a multitude of different issues. I troubleshot mine by playing the show and then finding out where it went wrong. In one case it was on one seq. I went into hub, took the seq out and put it back in, let it regenerate the show and it was fixed. Another user had a seq go bad from LOR and they sent him a new one. The other thing I found out is that there are certain SD cards that won't work. LOR verified that class 4 through 10 should be fine. However, SD card brand seems to be an issue. They specifically say do not use SanDisk. The say Kingston or equivalent. I use PNY and they seem to work though this year I did have one that works fine in the PC but not in the director even though it worked fine last year. Even reformatting it (has to be FAT32) did not fix it. It appears if there is just one bad sector on it the PC can ignore it and rewrite to the FAT table but the director can't handle it. That being said, are you saying all of your cards now just pass the sound and no lights or just that one? If it is all cards, I would contact LOR.
