End of light string stays lighted - dim

On one of my 16 channel Lor controllers, I have one channel where the end of the light string stays lighted even when there is no show playing.  It is like this when it is plugged in to power. 

How can I fix this?

1 Bulb on an AC string??? Sorry, does not compute. AC strings (mini) are series in groups. Or is this a C7 or C9 bulb, where the bulb unscrews? Prior to Gen 3 controllers, you need to have a Snubber (a small load (hidden incan night light or older Glade plugins)

Try a simple thing, reverse the plug on the string.
