Wonko
Hi all, I bought a .sup file online for my halloween show, and I'm struggling to get it to look right in the LOR preview of my matrix. My matrix is 11 strings by 92 nodes with 1 fold and top left start. I believe I have it set correctly in prop definition. I usually just click "add Superstar effect", then open the .sup file. Save and close, and it drops it into my motion effect row. This time the scaling is slightly off in the S5 playback window (I haven't turned on my actual matrix yet). It's like the top and bottom and sides are a little bit too big. Would I have to adjust the scaling of the .sup in superstar (and if so, how?), or is there something I can do in LOR to adjust? Thanks for everything! Wonko
ebrown1972
I'm guessing that more than likely you will need to make an adjustment in superstar. Most of the time S5 does a great job in scaling but at times I still have to make slight adjustments in superstar to get it just right.
Wonko
Thanks, Ebrown - that’s what I’m assuming, too. To clarify a bit - my matrix is 22x46, and I believe the design I purchased is 24x50. I went to “Tools, move or scale”, and then clicked “scale”, source: 24x50 (it was set at 22x46), then dest: 22x46. I didn’t see a save button, so I just closed the dialog box. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. Am I missing a step? thanks!
k6ccc
The "save" you are looking for the the "OK" at the bottom of the scale etc. window.
