Hardware utility won’t open

Have a 5 year+ old g3mp3 stand alone director. Computer crashed, have new laptop downloaded s6 basic. When I open hardware utility it say” cannot open hwseriral form. Maybe be out of date. “

Can make sequences fine. Nothing loads in sd card. Im assuming cause I cannot get into hardware utility to set parameters

Did you load the LOR device driver on the new computer?

I think you're right about his issue, Jim.  I think he forgot to install the FTDI Drivers, without them, that's usually the error the HU will give.  Same one I got when I installed the LOR Suite on a new computer and forgot to install those FTDI Drivers.  Thought I had, but nope, once installed, rebooted computer and everything worked as it should.

Oh that makes sense.Where can I downloaded the missing drivers? Thank you for taking the time on helping

Hey LOR, why not include the driver as part of the Showtime install (as well)? AFAIK, updating the installed driver hurts nothing.

Actually I think it is, but for reasons only Microsoft knows, does not install right.
