Stuart
Is there anyone doing custom (paid) sequence creation currently within the group? I would like to refresh my display animations for this season which is 64 channels plus 4 dumb rgb strips. Thanks, Stuart
dgrant
I think most all of us are now very busy sequencing or cleaning up our sequences therefore, way too late to offer custom sequences. You "can" do it yourself. Its really not hard to accomplish at all. Just listen to the song, then think of how you wish your lights to respond during the different parts of it. Start at the beginning with lights that will fade down or up such as a radio tune-to sign that you might wish to ramp down to %50 intensity and then at the end of the sequence, fade/ramp it back up to %100. The style of the song whether soft, loud, easy or very busy, then start sequencing. Once you get going, you'll find you are done with it in no time.
k6ccc
As dgrant said, kinda late to get much custom sequencing. However there are TONS of purchasable sequences from the LOR store and other sources. And you might find someone who can still do custom sequencing this late in the year... As for his comment that it's not that hard. That is true - for people that it's easy. There are also people that it does not come "naturally". I for one fully claim that I lack the artistic creativity. I can make the software do whatever I want, but I totally lack the creativity to know what I want. For me to create a sequence totally from scratch, I figure between 50 - 100 hours of my time (and MASSIVE frustration) per minute of sequencing. For most of my songs, I purchase the pixel tree sequencing and then use the colors and motions from the tree on the rest of the props. I still figure it takes close to 50 hours to add the rest of the yard. I hate sequencing.
