Box on Rails
Are both version 2 and 4 of the Pixie16D 12 volts? I am about to plug in and test the Version 2 Pixie16Ds that I changed from a 5 volt power supplies to 12 volt. I can not find any markings on the card that states either 5 or 12 volts. I wanted to ask before I run 12 volts through it. thanks again guys.
Mr. P
All Pixie controllers are 5-12VDC.
k6ccc
The voltage needs to match the pixels that are connected.
TheDucks
What they said. Version 4? there are 2 versions. V2 mostly added jumper for Termination and to disconnect the Aux power ti the CAT5 (those are visible features) OTOH a V2 Pixie4 added a screw power input (was a Faston) and Fuses per port BTW LOR the picture on https://store.lightorama.com/collections/rgb-controllers is the old Pixie4, not the new one
Box on Rails
Thanks. I thought they were 5v -12v. I am using all 12v pixels and they were not working right on 2 of the pixies because their power supply was 5 volt. I'll test them out latter. thanks again guys.
