Adz
Software: Control Panel Beta: 6.0.10 OS: Windows 10 Hardware: Enttec DMX Pro Attached logs file No shows/sequences control lights from control panel. Scheduled or on demand. Music plays but seemingly no output to DMX device. However test function in Control Panel works and controls lights correctly. All sequences tested in new version of sequencer and controls lights fine. I have saved some sequences as new to try in control panel but still fail as above. I have attempted complete reinstalls as well as different ports for the adaptor to no success. Logs - Copy.zip
PhilMassey
Just tested scheduled shows on 6.0.10 and all seems to be working. Including my DMX lights on a LOR adaptor.
PhilMassey
Have you tried uninstalling the Entec drivers with the device unplugged, reinstalling them and plugging the Entec back in.
MattBrown
Thanks for providing the log files. It shows that something is wrong with Enttec Pro setup: [CommLog] [0] DMX Univ 1 / EntecPro DMX failed to initialize. Device open failed You can see this if you click the Network Log button in the Networks section. Do you have an actual Enttec device, or a compatible? If a compatible, which vendor? When you say your sequences play fine, does that include controlling lights that are on universe 1? In the Networks section, try deleting the entry for universe 1, then re-adding it. Adz
Tried all the above. Device is a legitimate Enttec Pro with latest drivers installed. That part of the logs is where I removed it from the USB port. Lights are controlled absolutely fine in all scenarios except when the show is being played by the control panel. That’s the really weird thing.
MattBrown
Just tried testing a setup a similar to yours: I created a show consisting of a single sequence that controls a moving head light. The light was connected to an Enttec Pro compatible. As both an on-demand show and a scheduled show, the light operated per the commands in the sequence. So not sure where to go from here. If you can control your DMX lights from the Sequencer, they should work just as well when that sequence is played in a show. You can send me a PM with a link to your sequence (LOREDIT) and show (LSS) files and I would be happy to review them. Matt
