Sequencing Pixel Tree outside of SuperStar

Question: 

is there a method by which i can add a series of singing faces to a 16x50 pixel tree outside of SuperStar.  Specifically looking for a way to add just the mouth channels (4), then partition the tree to add 5-6 singing mouths to act as Choir for backup singing.  i really do not want to add the SuperStar addon if not needed, as this is the only project i can foresee

You can add Custom Motion Effect rows (Mouth Movements) to your Pixel tree - would have to be a huge tree to hold a choir

You do not need SS to animate as long as it is a pixel tree. I'm not sure about a ribbon tree. The ribbons illuminate different then pixels. You would have to create the 16x50 Tree or Matrix prop. Then create custom Motion Effects rows in the prop definition for each mouth positions. when you create each custom motion effect row you will use the pixel grid and free hand create the mouths by clicking on the pixels in the grid you want to illuminate to create the mouths. here is a video I made that shows how I created custom motion effects rows on a matrix that create mouth animation. starting at 1:32 in the video is where I start addressing the animation of the Matrix.
