Feature Request for Override Sequence

Would it be feasible to add a command for the override sequence so a show in progress will continue where interrupted and not start at the beginning again after the override sequence is finished.  Or is it already there and I missed it?

I think its there. The override sequence just gets bumped into next in line. The rest of the show is still there.

From my quick test, that is correct.  Just inserts the override sequence than continues.

Confirmed.  Started a show on demand, and after it started, inserted an override sequence of Landscape evening fast 2020-10-30.loredit  You can see below that A Mad Russian Christmas ended, the override sequence played and then the show continued with All I want for Christmas.

will have to go back and try again.  I tried the override sequence twice, set to immediate, not after current song, (thinking an announcement to stop blocking the road).

First try, the announcement (sequence) played as soon as I hit the play immediately button., was three songs into the show.  When the announcment finished, the show started from the top, not where it left off.

Second time I tried it,  after the announcement it went to the shut down sequence.

I'll go retry it today and take better notes, and check the logs too.  Thanks for the feedback guys!

My test was set to play after the current sequence finishes.  I wonder if it is different if it's an immediate.  Let me test that,...

Retried it again, and same thing restarted at the top of the schedule.  There are about 7 or more items past Carol of the bells in the upcoming sequences but it goes back to the top when the override is finished.  I will change it to after the current song and try it that way.

When I changed the override sequence to play after current song, the override is placed next in line on upcoming sequences, is played, and the show DOES continue with the sequence line up.  It does not continue the show lineup when set to play the override sequence immediately.  The logs from set to play after current song.  It plays it and continues.

This bug has been fixed and will be available in the next beta. As Bob points out, it was just for the play immediate option.
