k6ccc
My server - which runs the landscape show during the off season does a reboot every Wednesday afternoon. LOR was running prior to the reboot. I do have the "Launch at Startup" on Settings checked. LOR did not start up until I manually started it a few minutes later. A few minutes later, I rebooted manually with the same result. MattBrown
Jim, It works for me. If I open the Task Manager and go to its Startup tab, as I check and uncheck the "Launch at Startup" box I see LORTray appear and disappear in the startup list. Maybe there are different requirements for Windows Server - not sure. We are using the same technical approach for launching at startup as the S5 LORTray. k6ccc
Just tried that and there is no Startup tab in the Task Manager on my server (yes, logged in as Domain Admin).
MattBrown
Yes, I just did a little research and it looks like MS removed the startup tab in Server 2019. You can always use Task Scheduler to create a task to run it at login: https://www.wintips.org/how-to-start-a-program-at-startup-with-task-scheduler/ Matt
k6ccc
I also discovered that after my last post. I use the task scheduler regularly, so that will work fine.
