NO UNITS FOUND

HISTORY:
CTB16PC (not a kit)
COMM 4
SET CHANNEL to 30
Confirm Channel set to 30
Number of units 45
Hit Refresh
NO UNITS FOUND

Repeated Process and changed channel to 31 same results. This is a new board purchased this year. Went to help section but nothing on this topic.

Also it should be noted that if this controller is set for unit 28 it has no problem finding it. Of course when I set the old controller 28 to new unit number 30 it can not be found. Oh and did not find 31, 32 either. Is there something about the 30's

I beleive you need to increase the number of unit to 48 to get 30 to be recognized.

LOR uses Hexadecimal numbering so 30 is really 3x16=48 decimal.

Just FYI for those who don't know, hexadecimal number goes like this...

That did the trick.

Now that I think about it last year I had 28 controllers and this year is 38. When I do my tests on the Hardware Utility I try to keep my unit numbers low to save a little time. Just wasn't thinking when I set them early this morning.

Wow, 38 LOR units. :( After seeing a video of your display last year, I tried to talk the wifey into a trip down to Florida... with 160 more channels and God only knows how many more lights... I may just have to surprise her with a weekend trip. :)

Son the more you get the longer it takes to sequence a song and the more cords you use and the more time to set up and take down. But boy does it look good!

Of course it would help if clients would leave me alone on "my vacation". I mean have already worked two days of it (Fri. Sat.) have a meeting tomorrow and have to look at another property and boy it sucks.

Oh and I prefer REAL numbers, thank you very much.
