They look to have similar outputs and the descriptions are similar. Yet, the plastic residential models are a bit cheaper than the metal controllers. Orville Posted January 19, 2022 Share Posted January 19, 2022 I always took it to mean: Metal Enclosure = Commercial Use, higher amps, {overkill for Residential use}.
