S4 to S5

Looking to start playing with S5.

I am wanting to keep most of my current setup, but I want to start messing with pixels. So I have a few questions.

Can I run S4 and S5. In other words can I keep S4 intact with my current setup and shows and run S5 to start learning?

Can I import my current S4 channel config into S5

I am guessing that I can import my current S4 shows into S5.

You can't have both on the same machine. 

You can't use your S4 config files, but you can use your visualizer to create your preview. 

You can import your LMS files and convert them to S5 format, which is a .LOREDIT extension.

Your old LMS files will remain unharmed by the conversion so if you wish you can revert to S4 and continue to use them or continue to use them on another S4 machine.

Once you sequence and save in S5 as a loredit file that file cannot be converted back to S4.

Look for the Luminous Harmony tutorials on YouTube. They are very helpful.

You will create new shows with your new loredit files.

If you can attend the monthly Zoom room meetings it would be very helpful to your move from S4 to S5 since they are progressive. Last week was the initial migration importing your S4 Vis or Animator.
